I'm glad you "responded" Sarah.
I posted a verse in another post, but evidently you missed it.
The verse is directly from the NWT

Speaking of the "text" this is directly from the NWT John 1:3

"All things came into existance through him, and apart from him not even one
thing came into existance."

Did you "forget" to insert the usual [other]?

When your own version proves JW's false, you need to do more revising.

> > Both adding and subtracting words to make it

> The Greek text is not changed one single iota.

The Greek text is not "translated." It is perverted.
The words are added and subtracted in the so-called
English "translation." There are NO Greek texts which
contain the YHWH. NONE. Yet the NWT puts it in
in many places.

> > In no other "translation" is the tampering so evident,
> > blatant changes are made to the Greek text, and words

using

As shown above you cannot even defend your faith using
the NWT! For it contradicts the MAJOR error of your cult.

> However, we are encouraged to compare other translations, using as wide a
> variety as possible. In many parts of the world, the NWT is not even

When a "translation" deserves attack, one should attack it.

> I seldom quote the NWT on this NG because of the prejudice. So if you
don't
> like the NWT, I don't have to use it. The best Bible is the one that is

I prefer translations which are translations. Not ones that don't
even pretend to be from the origianl text.

> I've investigated for myself many of the accusations against the NWT, and

there

Why? All you have to do is compare it with any good translation to
see where it is false.

> Peace to you and yours.
2 John 1:9 Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of
Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath
both the Father and the Son.

"All things came into existence through him, and apart from him not even one
thing came into existence." NWT

By your own "Translation" Christ could not have come into existence.
Hence He is eternal. He is God.

But even this verse is mutilated. For the true translation from Greek is
closer to:

3 All things came into being by Him, and apart from Him nothing came into
being that has come into being.

Which makes the case even more concrete. Your "version" leaves off
the last part of the verse.
