That is terrible "spin." If I work hard and earn money, I can purchase
something. Trading goods and services for labor by way of money is not
an "entitlement." There is, however, Biblical warning against the
entitlement mentality which seems to be talking about lazy people (not
the truly needy who have no hope in this life or are truly unable).

Have you met any Christians who have defended what happened with Enron?
I haven't. Even my most rabid Republican friends don't defend something
so stupid. One of my friends was a CPA auditor during the S&L crisis in
the '80s. He is Christian, Republican, Evangelical, Conservative. He
certainly doesn't defend it either (he says the majority of that crisis
was speculation in addition to pathetic or non-existent record keeping
by _everybody_... the big boys get the most press, however). So I
wonder just who you are trying to impugn here?
