That's funny, because that phrase is right out of the book of Isaiah,
if you had bothered to read.
If you listen to the audio presentation, you will get the whole thing
in context of what ELSE Isaiah had to say about us today, and it is
worse than most think.
So, the botttom line is that your argument is with the Bible.

Your entire objection here is answered by the kenosis. You refuse to
appreciate the Second Person of the Godhead "giving up" the use of His
Deity.
This true issue is not whether or not there is enough scriptural
evidence for this, but that you refuse to believe the testimony of your
own being. You are body and soul and yet indivisible. You know (Rom
1:20) the true nature of God -but inorder to remain autonomous,
refusing to give up yourself as the adjudicator of all things, you
*will* not to accept that which you know to be true. You are both
self-deceived and blinded by Satan himself.

A mediator on the scale of being between the Almighty and man must
Himself be the God-man. Otherwise it is a mockery to both.

Kenosis. Rom 5 does not teach exact parallelism. It speaks of
similitude. He was able to represent man because mankind is a race.
The one act of Adam was downward. That could be actuated by Adam
himself. However, the act of elevation requires "I AM The Life." The
higher power must reach down to elevate the lower. The lower can never
elevate itself. To "partake of the divine nature" necessitates the
mediatorial representative to be Divine Himself. Again, you reflect
shallow thinking.
