There are a number of things wrong with this. Maybe first is
that you said "So to call someone "ignorant" just because they
have not yet seen the light..." is funny because having
"not seen the light" is the definition of "ignorant."
Second, I (and I'd bet everyone who reads this group) finds
Gary a much humbler person than you. So your bit about
the indwelling of the Spirit applies all the more to yourself.
Third, even given your perspective here, on one hand you
say Gary is cold (doesn't have the Spirit) and if he is
getting belligerent, then we might say he's hot. So one
wonders why you, on the other hand chastize him for being
"lukewarm".
It is, perhaps, the most frustrating thing for me on this
newsgroup that nobody cares what is true or false, but only
whether it is painful to say or whether the person who said
it might, occasionally sin.
