Is this not clearly understood? We are creatures. As such we are not
self-sufficient and are therefore derivative by nature. The whole
point of creation is to learn of the God who is revelatory. That He is
infinite, how can the finite ever cease to learn of Him? Therefore
consciousness will every be preceeding. Man was created perfect. In
that perfect state he was reliant upon consciously deriving his
understanding of creation from God Himself. Sin severed that
connection and made man self-adjudicating. Regeneration re-establishes
the link to "God's reality."
