>But a true Biblical understanding would notice two things:

>occurred in the entire history of man.
No, that is NOT "a true Biblical understanding". For it ignores the two
indisputable examples the Bible itself gives in "the entire history of man",
where they _did_ do good.
They are Job and Noah. And when were they 'regenerate'?
>2. Second, a regenerated Christian is "free" to do good, but that
>"freedom" is only possible because God
>is pouring out his grace upon that person at every moment. So it is
>like God has given the paralyzed person a wheelchair. Is a paralyzed
>person really "free" to walk around, if the only thing holding them up
>is their wheelchair?
The choice of 'wheelchair' as your metaphor is unfortunate, since once you lose
the ability to walk on your own and are confined to a wheelchair, you really do
feel imprisoned. But grace does no such thing to us!
