God knows all things, both possible and actual. The
possible is independent of His will. The actual is what He
has ordained to come to pass.

This is an excellent explanation of the "de futuribilis nec Deus
judicat" principle.

With this is mind, one can see that God can ordain free will
acts which are in accord with His will, and the tension is
greatly reduced if not completely eradicated, between the freedom
of man and the sovereignty of God.

IMHO Luke 1:38 Mary said, "Behold, I am the handmaid of the Lord. May it
be done to me according to your word." is the free will in accord of
His will ordained by God, and God made everything to prepare it
but Luke 23:20 Again Pilate addressed them, still wishing to release
Jesus, 21 but they continued their shouting, "Crucify him! Crucify him!"
is free will in accord of Gods will, but not ordained by Him, and God
made a lot of effort through the History of Salvation to avoid it.
God wanted to be flesh, this required the free will of the human beings,
and thus the Incarnated God became contingent of the human will.
