Ha! In your dreams. This is EXACTLY John's point in 1:14-18. In fact
these verses are in direct relation to Ex 33 & 34.
Look at Ex 33:9. Our English version put in "and the Lord would speak
with Moses." However, "Lord" is not in the Hebrew. There is only one
subject in that verse and three verbs. The "Pillar of Cloud" is YHVH.
Later, in vs 11, we have this supported.
In Jn 1:14, using that very unique Greek tense, the ingressive aorist,
John discloses that the Logos (Deity as noted in 1:1) stepped out of
one mode existence into an entirely new one. This is Paul's teaching
as well in the kenosis passage in Phil 2. "Became flesh" is an
existence never entered into before by the Creator (1:3) yet was
foretold (Mt 1:23). John then uses the Exodus discriptive "and
tabernacled among us." The word actually means "weight" or
"significant." It is that which settled over the Tabernacle as the
Shekinah Glory.
The "Glory of YHVH," often referred to in the Jewish Scriptures and
called the Shekinah in non-Biblical Jewish writings, was more than a
mere symbol of God's presence. It was unquestionably a sign and
manifestation of his presence but it also described "the form" in
which God revealed himself. There is certainly biblical justification
in seeing manifestations of this glory in such phenomena as the burning
bush and the pillar of cloud and fire, but there can be no question as
to its appearance on the Mount of Sinai where, we are told, "The Lord
descended upon it in fire" (Ex. 19:18). And when Moses went up by
divine command, the inspired record declares that "the glory of the
Lord abode upon Mount Sinai" (Ex 24:15-16). It was here that the
historical kingdom received its divine constitution and laws, and when
the tabernacle bad been completed according to directions, we read that
"the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle" (Ex 40:34). Thus the
glory became the visible evidence of God's presence and rule in the
kingdom of Israel.
It is this very "weight" or "glory" which John assigns to the Logos
becoming incarnate.
There is no reasonable defense not to conclude that John's entire
prologue was to establish his Logos not as a mere divine being, but
quite apart from the pagan definitions, God Himself. To remove this
from the prologue is to interpret counter to the very purpose of it's
formation.

Garbage. There is no such assimilation of the witness of the NT's
teaching which your presupposition that Jesus's testimony was but yet
another angelic representation, only on a grander scale. This is
totally contrary to the prologue of John's gospel. In the Logos, and
in Him alone, do we see God. The Spirit is spoken of figuratively in
the Scriptures, even in the Trinitarian manifestation in Rev 4 & 5.
The Father is likewise only symbolically represented. But at the Mt.
of Transfiguration and according to John's testimony in 12:38ff, the
manifestation of YHVH in Isa 6, we are given a view of God as actually
entering into a new mode of existence via the incarnation such that men
may walk and talk with Him. He is the Exegete of God. He is, as the
writer of Hebrews declares, the exact representation of God in
anthropomorphic revelation.
So Mr. Blu, "you_are_without_excuse" when you are called before the
Throne and asked to give a reason as to why you would not believe. You
are an idolater of the worse kind. You have a learning of the
scriptures but you refuse to exchange you "creature" for the Creator.
Therefore you are lost and standing on the precipice of eternal
separation for the very one whom you say Lord, Lord, did we not
prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your
name perform many miracles?'
Matt. 7:23 "And then I will declare to them, 'I never knew you; depart
from Me, you who practice lawlessness.'
Repent (teshurah). Turn away from your vain use of the name of YHVH.
Jesus is YHVH Tzidkenu, El Gibbor. How shall you escape if you neglect
so great a Salvation?
