Jesus died because he got in the way of powerful people. And the only
way they could get him out of the way was to kill him. And those who
could have stopped those who wanted Jesus out of the way, did not have
what it takes to stop them. So evil people condemned Jesus and put him
to death.
But God vindicated Jesus, took control of death and raised Jesus from
the dead. And God helped us to recognize that Jesus was right and the
powers that opposed him were wrong. And that the days of the powers
that opposed Jesus are numbered. And that the powers that oppose
Jesus will loose control of this world and the meek will inherit the
earth.
