You insist that we read all the relevant passages w/o literal
contradiction,
this IS one way to do it. So now what we have this one way, you have no
grounds
to say that Christ denied that Enoch ascended to heaven.

I wrote:

Enoch did not ascend to heaven for the way into heaven had not been
opened until the forerunner Jesus Christ opened the way. (Col. 1:18;
Heb. 9:8). Before you attempt (and fail) to say the "holy place did not
mean heaven" you should read all of Hebrews 9 and see that Paul is
making parallels between the old tent and the new tent. And while
anabaino normally is used as "going up on your own volition and power"
it is not exclusive and unambiguous. Had there been a clear
unimpeachable pattern of it's usage it would be a very strong point.
Additonally nothing in the surrounding verses of John 3:13 supports
your view. Jesus was talking to Nicodemus about being "born again". You
cannot enter heaven unless you were born again- nobody was "born again"
prior to jesus- including Enoch. BESIDES ENOCH WOULD HAVE TO DIE TO GO
TO HEAVEN ACCORDING TO 1 Cor. 15:36-44 and verse 50 clearly says "flesh
and blood cannot enter heaven" . So how could Enoch get to heaven if he
did not die? The "last trumpet" had not blown in his time so he was not
"changed". Enoch died and did not go to heaven. You are simply wrong
Matthew and too stubborn to admit it.

Most importantly is that Christ was the "firstborn from the dead" to be
taken to heaven and achieve immortality (Col. 1:18). Enoch did not go
to heaven.

Christ knew Enoch did not go to heaven so he did need to deny something
that didn't exist in his mind.
